Here is the calendar
In May 2022, the Session established the Developing for the Future Collaboration Group (DFTF) to discern what we might envision for House of Hope’s future, once the infrastructure construction work was completed. This work group was tasked with many challenging considerations, such as, determining what is most important to our members and friends; what our strengths are and where there is room for improvement; how we might transform our building and campus, including the development of a master site plan; and how we can be a relevant congregation with a forward-thinking and outward- facing outlook.
After nearly two years and more than 70 meetings that included a visioning process, listening sessions with architect Paul May of Miller Dunwiddie, Sunday Enrichment discussions, Dreamscape gallery exhibit, and site visits to other churches, DFTF submitted a final report—with recommendations for future actions—to the Session and Trustees at their joint meeting on May 21. We now invite you to a presentation of that report and recommendations at the Sunday Enrichment on June 23.
What members and friends of the congregation need and want for House of Hope’s future has been a core consideration of DFTF’s work. As we are Spirit-led into our church’s future, don’t miss this opportunity to be part of that continuing process.
